New Here FAQ

What denomination is RBCPC?

Like it says in our name, we’re a Presbyterian church, which simply means that our church governance is handled by our church elders and PCUSA, which is an association of Presbyterian churches across the US.

What kind of values does RBCPC have?

The best description of who we are as a church is found in our vision and vision statements. Our mission is to worship God and reflect the love of Jesus in serving others. We have a vision to be a church that gathers as followers of Jesus, shares life together, embraces the community, and joins in what God is doing in the world. We believe that encountering Jesus in our lives changes us and enables us to be a taste of God’s goodness in our communities and the world. To read more about the values that drive us, visit our Vision and Values page.

What types of worship services does RBCPC have?

We have four different types of services; two traditional and three contemporary. Our traditional services feature hymns and a rich Presbyterian liturgy, while our contemporary services feature a modern worship style and relaxed atmosphere. We also provide an Arabic-speaking service. The times for our services can be found on the Worship page. Feel free to come check any one of them out and see what works for you!

What kinds of youth programs does RBCPC offer?

We have programs for kids of all ages! For the very young (up to 3 years old), we provide childcare for parents wishing to attend services. We provide Sunday school, called KidsLife, for kids Preschool to 5th grade which meets in the classrooms above the courtyard. We have a Middle School Ministry (MSM) program at 10:00 AM in the middle school room below the Sanctuary. For high school students, we have a program called the Highway which meets at 10:00 AM in the high school room above the church offices. No matter the age, we have something going on for your kid.
