RBCPC is proud to partner with missions and service opportunities in our community, across the country, and around the globe. We have missions teams that range from our own downtown San Diego to Africa, Asia, and South America. Our missions programs are selected and advocated by our own Elders, and supported by monetary gifts given by the congregation.

Missions We Support

MOTE International Ministries

Missions on the Edge (MOTE) International Ministries is devoted to brining Christ to all corners of the world. Led by Chappy Dave Walden, MOTE seeks to reach people in prisons and rehab programs, and to reach out to the young with daycare and after school programs.

National Network of Youth Ministries

The National Network of Youth Ministries desires to step out and work alongside other caring adults locally and nationally to reach our precious young for Jesus Christ.

Operation Christmas Child

Operation Christmas Child (OCC) demonstrates God’s love in a tangible way to children in need around the world and shares the good news of Jesus Christ. Since 1993, OCC has collected and delivered more than 135 million gift-filled shoeboxes to children in more than 150 countries and territories. For many of these children, the gift-filled shoebox is the first gift they have ever received.

Overcoming Faith Academy

Overcoming Faith Academy helps transform the lives of children in Kenya by providing an education, food and medical care.

Presbyterian Urban Ministries

Presbyterian Urban Ministries serves not only to meet the immediate physical needs of our clients but to go beyond this level to offer psychological, social, and spiritual services that can lead to real transformations.

Reality Changers

Reality Changers provides scholarships and moral support to underprivileged students seeking to further themselves with a College Education.

San Diego Habitat for Humanity

Habitat is offering a hand-up, not a handout, to these partner families who invest sweat-equity as part of the process of obtaining a Habitat built home.

Talking Bibles

Talking Bibles International provides leaders in communities of oral learners with "talking Bibles" - an audio player that plays recordings of scripture read in their native languages. This allows indigenous non-readers to become church leaders, pastors, and missionaries to their own people.

Transkei Missions

The Transkei Missions are made up of three different sites located in the Transkei region of South Africa: the Transkei Victory Christian Mission (TVCM), the Gatyana Bible College (GBC), and the Purcifull Childcare Centre (PCCC). RBCPC contributes meaningfully to each of these mission efforts. All the sites are managed and attended by Kelly Kosky, a long-time missionary to the region.

Urban Youth Collaborative

Urban Youth Collaborative connects the youth in San Diego to the resources of the kingdom of God by linking churches to schools.
