In times of financial hardship….. emergency assistance

We provide temporary assistance to individuals and families.

Temporary assistance is given to members of our congregation and community based on needs determined by a Pastoral meeting. Possible assistance can include:

    • help with food
    • gas
    • clothing
    • local transportation
    • as well as short-term emergency financial assistance

To use our limited resources wisely, assistance is usually provided on a one time basis only. For long-term solutions and on-going support, we may direct those in need to organizations like Interfaith Community Services, the Salvation Army and Presbyterian Urban Ministries.

    We provide transportation

on Sunday mornings, to people in the local area who wish to come to church but can no longer drive. The church bus is comfortably equipped and driven by certified bus drivers with Deacon volunteers along to assist riders. If you need transportation to either the 8:30 or 11:30 Worship service, contact (858) 487-1246.

    If you're in need
