Elma Barnett Children

Elma Barnett Child Care Centre Kamanong (EBCCK) is a place that provides necessities for young children in the area around Kamanong, Kenya.

    Our Mission

The Elma Barnett Children’s Centre Kamonong (EBCCK) exists to carry out the Biblical mandate to care for children from broken homes by providing housing, education, health care, protection and Biblical teaching. This is done in conjunction with the Kenyan government, local community, churches, overseas donors and other supporters.

    Our Mission Activities

Our mission is based on faith and the belief that children will be cared for in a place of refuge and safety. They will be provided with opportunities to do useful and meaningful tasks that will build self-worth and responsible behavior. They will be taught to care for and think of the needs and concerns of others.  All children and youth have a right to love, respect and genuine concern.

We have several different organizations that we support.

    • The Elma Children's Center, a home for orphaned children under the age of 18. The Center provides housing, education, protection, and Biblical teaching.
    • The Elma Accelerated Christian Education Mission School provides a great education for students in kindergarten through 8th grade.
    • The Elma Kamonong High School is a secondary school and community youth center, providing a great education as well as encouraging responsibility and good morals.
